Chic Tags started when my wife couldn’t find scrapbooking products that matched her style, so she asked me to design some for her. After she posted her projects online, people began asking about the tags, which led to opening an Etsy shop. We initially produced everything with a laser printer and hand punches, but as demand grew and shops requested bulk orders, we invested in die-cut machines and expanded production. Our success on Etsy allowed us to launch our own e-commerce site, attend CHA trade shows, and eventually get picked up by major retailers like Hobby Lobby, Beverly’s Fabrics, Archiver’s, and numerous independent scrapbook stores worldwide.
